What you get

Data centers for India and the UAE

On DigitalOcean, Cloudways lists Bangalore, Singapore, London, Frankfurt and others, so Indian audiences are well served. For a UAE audience, check the region list for the cloud you choose when launching a server; we could not confirm a UAE region from the public pricing page.

Pros

  • No long prepayment: pay for what you use
  • Easy to resize as traffic grows
  • Choice of five cloud providers
  • Bangalore servers for Indian visitors
  • Good fit for multiple sites on one server

Cons

  • More expensive than shared hosting at the low end
  • Email and some security features cost extra
  • Less beginner-friendly than an all-in-one panel
  • UAE region availability needs checking

Who Cloudways suits

Good fit: growing WordPress or WooCommerce sites, freelancers and agencies hosting several client sites, anyone who wants monthly billing. Look elsewhere: if you want the lowest possible price for one small site, or email and domain bundled in one bill.

Speed test results

Coming soon: we're running live test sites. We are building an identical WordPress test site on Cloudways and will publish real measurements from India and the UAE. No numbers until we have measured them ourselves.

Bottom line

Cloudways sits between cheap shared hosting and premium managed WordPress. It costs more than Hostinger at the low end, but you avoid a long prepayment and can resize as you grow. Add email and backup storage into your budget before you compare.
